Volume 51: Stupid Shed

Image
Hi guys,     This week was honestly a blur, I don't even remember what happened so this is probably not gonna be too interesting for y'all. But I will try my best. We just found moldy potatos so that's interesting.     Here are some random things of the week: 1. Moldy potatos 2. Honey Mustard Pringles which are sooo good, and would recommend 3. Sorted through costumes at a thrift store and ya there are weird things 4. Started the McDonald's monopoly thing 5. Haircut 6. Ate 2 poutines 7. Tried to post something on Instagram 8. Texted a lot of people 9. Someone gave us 2 phat cucumbers 10. Cleaned up rotting tomatos 11. Built the most complicated shed ever 12. District council 13. Saw some goats 14. Got fresh honey from a member 15. After my Poutine was done I had 5 big curds left so I took them home and ate them the next day. Best decision ever. 16. Almost hit a cat 17. I wore air monarchs... 18. Echanges 19. Church and 2 baptisms 20. Sang some good songs in the car 2...

Volume 51: Tender Mercies!

Image
Hey yo,     Another week gone, and I'd say I'm glad it's over. It was just a long one, and I'm not sure what even happened, other than we went to Québec City for a special conference with our new zone! That was fun. We also had our mission tour, which was filled with the spirit and lots of things learned! Sooooo I guess there were good things here, but it still felt long no doubt about that. We just had lots of rejection and just not lots of success. But we did see the hand of God this week dispite all those crazy things! As Elder Curtis would say a lot this week "we have had a lot of tender mercies lately", so here are some of them!     1. The Luggage of Elder Curtis has arrived! I don't think we prayed harder. And you already know how much we pray already so that's saying a lot. Let's just say there was a big lesson learned, and also many emotions shared with people. I will leave it at that! All good here. But it was insane we called like 50 time...

Volume 50: Oh Boy...

Oh. My. Gosh.     That basically sums up the whole week here in Victoriaville. I knew on Wednesday after all the news we had received that this week was gonna be a memorable one. I new that I was gonna name it "oh boy..." that's literally how I felt all week. But, it's over (kind of) and we have a new one ahead of us! Let's begin...     So to start of we got transfers! Love it when that happens. We got them last Monday night, and drum roll... I'm staying with Elder Felix in Victoriaville to finish his training (training is 2 transfers). BUT we got a new Elder so we are in a trio! My first one! It's super dope already, but there is a plot twist. Love those. I'm training TWO Elders. Not just one anymore, a phat 2. So that's been a little stressful in some areas of the week, but not as bad as when I got Elder Felix cause now I kinda know a little more of what I'm doing. So ya. We left on Thursday night to go and get him in Montreal so that we coul...

Volume 49: A Different Type Of Manure

Image
Sorry so basically Facebook and Instagram are down so I guess I will talk to y'all next week lol but now you have this great email to read while you wait another week. It's literally basically next week anyways. Lots of great things this week! We have been blessed, and God is continuously being so great like always. He's always right!     It's getting colder here, but not to bad. Apparently we get the first fall of snow in November. I can handle that I think, it's better than having snow before Halloween or like now @Alberta. I love Alberta. We are still running, I make my companion go cause eventually we will have no choice but to be inside. That sucks. But we will take what we can get now and keep going.     Let's see what was interesting this week. Well we played tennis this morning. It's very fun, but it's hard. But it's fun so that overrides the hardness. I would play it again, but maybe with a teammate cause that would be super fun. This week a...
