Volume 13: The Renaissance Woman

Bonjour peeps comment ça va?     Twas another great week in Granby dispite the restrictions that we still have to follow. Hopefully they will be lifted when they say they will be, which is like February 8 I think. Luckily they have lifted them a tiny bit, now we can have church related meetings up to 10 people max, so at least it's something. It doesn't sound like much but since our district is only a party of 6 we can now see each other again, which is always nice.     So my weird title brings a weird story, well at least for me. This might just be dumb, but we will go for it anyways. A few days ago I had the idea to put up some pictures of Christ on Facebook Market, since the Book of Mormon ads have been so successful! So we found four sets of pictures in the apartment and went with those. So I put them up one night, and right away one of the pictures of Christ was not approved by Facebook for a VERY weird reason... so I reported that to try and make it available, ...

Quoi de neuf tout le monde!     Hope you all understand the title of my email... you will understand when you read the story connected to it so don't worry. Also, I just put "le" at the beginning to make it sound French.     So a few days ago, Elder Forsyth and I decided to go to this Frozen like to take some pictures. We have been there before, so why would there be any problems right? We got there and parked at about 3 in the afternoon. And went on our way to check out the lake. There were only a few cars there so nothing seemed weird or off at all. We spent about an hour and a half there just exploring and doing something other than sitting in the apartment. When about about 4:30 hit, it was time for us to go because we have to pick up some dinner, and deliver something to somebody. So we decided to go back to the vehicle and leave after a great time outside. When we got in the vehicle and drove down to the exit, we had a surprise waiting for us. There was a gate ...

Volume 11: Buns Vs Rolls

Salut tout le monde, ça va?     Another week has come and gone, here in Granby Quebec! This week was mostly about searching and finding new people to teach as soon as your point and weren't very many lessons but we have started a lot of conversations with new people!     Before I get into that, I want to talk about buns and rolls. Now I think that the bread you eat at dinner time with all the other great food you eat, are called buns. Now three of the other people in my District disagree very strongly and think they're called rolls. This very controversial topic went for some time. It started between Elder Harvey and I (we were doing exchanges), and it evolved to the whole district. It may have went for a long time...but we still didn't solve anything. Then it may have went for even longer when I was on a walk with my companion the same day... but we still didn't solve anything. But we did come to the conclusion is that three people think they are roles, and three pe...

Volume 10: No Food=Miracles

Bonjour mes amis, ça va?!     I hope everyone had a Happy New Year, and saw some fireworks! I was lucky enough to see many! We were just chilling in the apartment, and we heard a loud noise from outside. We both knew exactly what it was, so we ran out in shorts and a shirt to enjoy them! Not cold at all.     This week was FULL of miracles! It was crazy to see it all unfold in the span of two days! This week we had 2 missionary training meetings. We learned about the importance of Christlike attributes, and how they will bless us each day when we exercise them. It was such a spiritual experience for everyone, and I'm grateful for President, and Sister Low for making that happen! After the last meeting on Saturday, they invited the whole mission to fast for miracles, to have faith for new baptisma, and to finally get a 4th stake in Quebec. So we did as we were told, and let me tell you; even though it was a rough one, it was worth it. Later that night when we had our w...
