Volume 48: Salmonella And Baptism

Image
Hello, Hola, salut.     I would call this week a typical missionary week, not much excitement through the week, just a normal week which isn't bad that's for sure. Until the weekend that's when things got spicy. With a lot of prayer and hard work we were able to reach our goals for new friends found and people that church. That was a blessing! The Lord loves effort! It's also crazy that October is like on Friday, whattttt. Anyways. Here is the story (I wrote it to someone in a text already and honestly I'm to lazy to write it again so ya):     So basically there was a baptism and it was for some girls in our branch who just turned 8! We went cause there were gonna be some new people to talk to there. We didn't have to plan anything cause it wasn't our baptism, it was all for the family, but we would of definitely helped if they asked lol. So we decided to go to the church before to do stuff right before the baptism. But a thought went through my head "w...

Volume 47: I Saw An Apostle Of The Lord

Yo yo salut.     This week was like one day, we had many different appointments and meetings that was just like bam bam bam. Now it's Monday! So that's pretty cool. Needless to say that it was a pretty spiritual week. We had zone conference, interviews, echanges, and we got to hear from Elder Quinton L. Cook. He's an apostle. Of the Lord. That's pretty cool. Also Elder Depew my companion from the MTC is coming to Canada, ya that's what I said. So that's super exciting! Only 10 more sleeps, AND 17 more for Elder Harned who was also in my MTC district! I really hope that I will be able to see them both!     So zone conference was awesome! We learned about inviting others, and how important it is to remember that we are to invite everyone to come into Christ because no one is left out in the gospel of Jesus Christ. We are to always remember the importance of that!-(2 Nephi 6:33) It definitely changed my perspective on things a bit, and has made it easier to talk to...

Volume 46: The Poop Jumped On Me!

Salut my friends!     So this week was like pretty long but full or blessings miracles! We worked hard, had lots of rejection, but in the end we were able to find 5 new people to teach! It was great seeing all the outcomes of the work that we did this week. Now this week coming up is gonna be full of driving and meetings, but they are good ones so it's all good. We have zone conference, interviews with the president, exchanges, and we get to hear from Quinton L. Cook who is one of the 12 apostles! It's gonna be a very spiritual meeting! That is for all the missionnaires, so it's basically a family reunion. Pretty hype.     So now I'm gonna explain the title of the email. So basically at the beginning of this week we had a little toilet problem... not the greatest way to start the week I'd say. It was really fun going back and forth from the gas station, church, and porta potties for 2 days... ya it was only 2 days but still. Anyways, for some reason we couldn't ...

Volume 45: It's All Apart Of The Experience Russell

Salut people!     Hope everyone had a good week! This week was kinda meh cause we had a lot of rejection, but that's just life. Keep going and have faith. It's also been raining so much everyday, and it's labour day so nothing is open lol, we will be getting food tomorrow. It's crazy how fast the weather changes, it's now cold and raining, just after it was blazing hot and I was dying in all the homes... it's basically Christmas I would say. Speaking of that, ya I enjoy Christmas, especially the music. My companion has quite a bit on his phone, so that lead to some solid Christmas music in September. Y'all should have your trees not by how. Deck the Halls:))     Anyways, like I said we had a lot of rejection this week, no one wanted to talk to us except one old man, so that was nice for a change. Every house that we go to is either someone who is nice but not interested or someone who is grumpy and definitely not interested. Hopefully that will change soon, ...
