Volume 91: Don't Take Cookies From Random Men.

Hello everyone! I hope this week was awesome, because it was pretty good on my side! We had some interesting experiences, and some amazing miracles!     First of all, we had 5 friends come to church this week! It was awesome to see them all there, and they all loved what they experienced and what they felt! Our friend who is on date (Tommy), was able to come for the first time, and he truly felt the love of God! We also had a friend named Ali come (bless his soul). He is a man full of energy, and he loves talking to everyone he sees. This was also only his second time to church, so no one really knows him to begin with. The first week was fine, but this week he decided to make cookies... for everyone. It was great. I just hope everyone felt the same love that he was trying to show towards all the people in the building. Not one man, woman, or child left the church building without a cookie. I had no idea what was happening, it was all just too fast; so I decided to go with the...

Volume 90: Ok, I'll Check My Calendar.

Hey family, what's new?     I've got some exciting news that happened this week! Our friend Tommy has agreed to take the next step, and be baptised! He is so prepared, and I pray that he will be able to enter the waters of baptism on September 3! There is nothing stopping him, his testimony has grown so much in the past few weeks. We are so excited! When we put him on date, we were talking about the Gospel of Jesus Christ, and how baptism is an important step! At the end of the lesson we invited him to follow the example of Jesus Christ, and be baptised! Right after, he pulled out his phone and was like, "Let me check my calender... yep I'm available!" It was legendary! Please pray for him!     That was the most exciting thing this week by far. Other than that, we taught a lot of lessons, and did so many contacts it was crazy. Overall a pretty good week.     We did find someone named Sarah, and she's so cool! We were sitting at the University of Laval, and ...

Volume 89: Wait, Is That A Pig?

Yo tout le monde, what's poppin?     This week was insane, and as you can tell, so was today. We did all kinds of things like we went to old Québec, to the mall, we did laundry, we got food, we went to the church, so basically we did it all! When we went to old Québec, it was pretty full of tourists... so it was crazy busy. Definitely less busy then when I was there a year ago with Elder Salmon. It's such a cool place, with lots to do! Highly recommended by me! We also ate sushi again today... I think Im starting to find out why my bank account is always so empty. But that's ok, it's 100% worth it to me!     Zone Conference happened, and it was so good! We had the opportunity to learn about Coming unto Christ. I would say it was my favorite one! Both because of the things I learned, and because I got to see Elder Depew again. That was great. He also stayed over the night before, so we had the change to catch up and talk about the wonderful time we had in the MTC. Tho...

Volume 88: 20 Months Was Too Long.

Hey everyone, I probably had the best week yet! Wanna know why? I met Elder Depew in person for the first time!!! After over 20 months of not being able to see each other, we finally did, and it was such a suprise! I litterly smiled the whole day! Its like we have known each other since birth, and we only have been around each other through zoom for 6 weeks. He's the best. Home MTC really does that to you. Even better, I get to see him again at Zone Conference.     This week really was quite awesome! We had so many miracles it was actually crazy! In the end we were able to find 11 new people to teach! What? It was amazing! God's hand is in the work here in Québec! We also had 4 people come to church yesterday! Amazing stuff. We have some pretty solid friends, and even if they don't get baptised while I'm here, I know they will in the future! One experience in particular this week was when we were walking to a lesson at a park, we saw about 30 little African kids playing...

Volume 87: July 4 < July 1?

Happy Independence Day! Wait...     This week was crazy and I honestly am way to tired to write up a full email. We just got back from playing beach volleyball with the district and it was a blast! Beach vball is the best honestly, especially when you can get a good rally going! We did the district pday today because we wanted to do a 4th of July picnic and since I'm the only Canadian in the district I was lost when we sang the American national anthum. I just stood there and ate watermelon. Overall it was a dope pday. The sand absolutely wrecked the bottom of my feet tho, so catch me limping.     We had lots of success this week talking to people on the street, it was awesome! The weather has been super nice so we are able to be outside a lot more. We live in such a nice area and it's so nice to talk to young people our age, they are so much more open then the old ones...     Québec is weird. They don't celebrate July 1 the way it should be done. Instead o...
