Volume 77: I'm Pretty Dumb.

Image
What's up!     I'm so dumb. I locked us out of the house. But that's ok cause we found someone to talk to about the gospel while we were hardcore struggling, so it was all part of the plan. God works in all ways.     This week was jam packed, so let's get into it! Huge miracle alert! Our friend Anna is now on date! She is the best and doing so well here in Alma! There is nothing stopping her, in making her covenant with God, baptism! We had a great lesson with her over video call on Wednesday, and even though she was a little nervous to accept, she knows it is what she wants to do! It's a big step, but it's an important one that will bless the lives of the people who decide to make this covenant! Whoo!     This week we had the most successful English class, and it was 2 people ha! But they will be coming every week (it's a Father and her daughter from France), and it's going to be awesome! Oh ya, ALSO I put up a post in one of the Alma groups to offer th...

Volume 76: Put It In The Room, It Will Drown.

Well hi.     This week was the fastest one up to date I would have to say. I don't even know what happened, wait, ya I do cause it wasn't much variety.     STORY TIME:     Every Tuesday we go over to one of the few members homes to help with her recycling, or garbage. All we have to do is take it from her house, and put it in the appropriate bin. Sometimes we also bring up whatever she has bought from the grocery store in her vehicle, up to her apartment. Usually it's all food, sometimes it's clothing for her 5 year old daughter as well. So as per usual, we went on Tuesday. Now for more background, her home has never been the most clean thing I've seen. Usually we never enter, so we can't see it all; but we can sure smell it all. This time, she wasn't feeling to well, so she had to stay in her bed. This meant we had to enter the home. I knew it was messy, but I wasn't prepared. Since I can only use words, just imagine someone throwing a "FLDSMDFR...

Volume 75: Wait, Is He Actually Doing That?

Image
Salut mes amis!     So about 5 minutes ago we got home from getting our groceries as per usual. We noticed that our good old downstairs neighbor was also outside doing who knows what. We got out of the car and went to get the groceries in the back. As we were getting the bags, we looked up and saw our neighbor searching through our garbage bin. FYI-We had just thrown out many things before we left so that we had room in the fridge. So the garbage was full of yummy items. We just stood there with our eyes fixed on him, repeating the same words "wait is he actually doing that?". Yes, he is we learned. He ended up taking a moldy pie, rotten spinich and potatoes, and the old container of spinich dip we finished. Then he walked inside like he was about ready for lunch. Overall a great experience for us this Monday.     Now off of that note, this week went by pretty quickly, and it was overall a good one. In General Conference President Nelson talked to us about how we nee...

Volume 74: I Have Diabetes... Give Me Another One.

Image
Bonjour yo!     Here we are again, not a lot of time. But this week was pretty awesome! To make it even better, we went on a little hike for once which was nice. It's getting nice here now finally so we can go outside, that feels good.     So I really don't have time lol, but I do want to share a story. So at the end of General Conference I started eating some fuzzy peaches, and the branch presidents wife asked for one. I gave her a singular fuzzy peach, and she ate I right away. Then she said "oh that's spicy", and after she swallowed it, she coughed for 5 minutes. I was getting worried. After she stopped, she looked up at me and said "I want another one." I died laughing. Then she was like "no I have diabetes... meh, give me another one." It was a great moment that we shared together.     General Conference was awesome, and filled with the spirit! Our great friend Anna and her family came. They felt the spirit so strong, and after they shared...
