Volume 49: A Different Type Of Manure

Sorry so basically Facebook and Instagram are down so I guess I will talk to y'all next week lol but now you have this great email to read while you wait another week. It's literally basically next week anyways. Lots of great things this week! We have been blessed, and God is continuously being so great like always. He's always right!

 

 

It's getting colder here, but not to bad. Apparently we get the first fall of snow in November. I can handle that I think, it's better than having snow before Halloween or like now @Alberta. I love Alberta. We are still running, I make my companion go cause eventually we will have no choice but to be inside. That sucks. But we will take what we can get now and keep going.

 

 

Let's see what was interesting this week. Well we played tennis this morning. It's very fun, but it's hard. But it's fun so that overrides the hardness. I would play it again, but maybe with a teammate cause that would be super fun. This week at District Council us and the sisters in our district practiced our song that we are doing for a video! No idea when it will be filmed but we want to do it before the snow... not much time tbh lol. But I'm playing the piano sooooo ya. I need lots of practice. I also brought a diet coke to District Council just for fun. I got some judgy looks kind of but I was the one with poop so it's kind of their problem lol, I love my district. Truly. We also have transfers this week (real) like it's the end of a 6 week period. Also it's the last transfer of the crazy stuff so now we don't have a transfer every week. Kind of a relief. I'll probably stay and keep training makes the most sense. Also I have NOT seen Elder Depew yet and I'm sad. I hope he comes into my zone or maybe even district. Now that would be cool. Today we are teaching someone English... never done that before I don't know what I'm doing but God does so it's fine. We will be fine. Oh ya everytime it rains here, it smells like manure everywhere, it's actually really bad. But kinda like Alberta sometimes but honestly it's worse. It's not the vibe. But I can't do anything about it except it car fresheners so it doesn't smell like that in the car. That's what I did.

 

 

General Conference was this week! Basically this is when everyone around the world has the chance to hear the prophet speak! Also many other people! It's a weekend filled with happiness, the spirit, treats, diet coke, and stress. Only stress as a missionary cause we were trying to get all our friends to watch, and since we can't drive them we got to get memebers to give them rides. Sometimes that's not easy lolz but we were actually able to do it, the day of. What a relief. See God is good. We ended with 8 people coming to watch! That's a huge blessing for us here! Sadly we found 0 new people, but we have like 8 more potentials who are interested. So this week we have hope! Conference was just amazing and it brought so much joy! I had the opportunity to listen to all of the Sunday talks in French. That was pretty cool. The translaters were great, and definitely hard to understand sometimes but I got the jist of it. All good here.

That is one of my favorite quotes from General Conference! It's really is true how the gospel is essential for all of us, members, and non members. The gospel brings simple clear and true principals that everyone can learn to follow and love. We have the gospel to protect us, and keep us on the path of righteousness so that we can receive eternal joy and live with our Heavenly Father again. Now isn't that why we are here? Yes it is!
