Volume 45: It's All Apart Of The Experience Russell

Salut people!

Hope everyone had a good week! This week was kinda meh cause we had a lot of rejection, but that's just life. Keep going and have faith. It's also been raining so much everyday, and it's labour day so nothing is open lol, we will be getting food tomorrow. It's crazy how fast the weather changes, it's now cold and raining, just after it was blazing hot and I was dying in all the homes... it's basically Christmas I would say. Speaking of that, ya I enjoy Christmas, especially the music. My companion has quite a bit on his phone, so that lead to some solid Christmas music in September. Y'all should have your trees not by how. Deck the Halls:))

Anyways, like I said we had a lot of rejection this week, no one wanted to talk to us except one old man, so that was nice for a change. Every house that we go to is either someone who is nice but not interested or someone who is grumpy and definitely not interested. Hopefully that will change soon, but it's all God's will, we will keep going but I'm sure eventually someone will be excited to talk to us. There is this festival happening here soon, so you best know we will be all up into that. Apparently the winner of 2018 voice is coming, I don't know how they got that figured out here, but maybe people will want to talk to us there.

We had a branch activity here on Saturday, and it was fun! Got to meet lots of members and even someone named Belair. Noe Belair is a character. He has a big truck that he got for 100 and he is very proud of it, he showed us for an hour. He is also the most patriotic man I've ever seen and he's.not even American. He loves American so much, he won't wear anything or own anything that's not American. He made that clear. The next topic he shared for an hour was the food in America, he talked about hamburgers for 30 minutes, and hotdogs for 30 minutes. He also spoke the most franglais ive ever heard. Every other word he spoke was French, and all the others in-between were English, and it was 184 miles per hour. Oh ya he isn't a member, but he is someone who has been taught before. I guess all the members here are very familiar with him. He also called us today and talked to us for 30 min about American country music. I now have a list of the best singers I guess. He is a character.

I took my greenie to a lot of new things this week. I keep forgetting that hes American. He has his first poutine, and his first time Hortons. Very Canadian. That's it. He's doing good.

We did service for this lady who had an appartment, well actually it wasn't really an appartment, more of just piles of junk. Ya it was gross, definitely a good welcome for the new missionaire. He witnessed it all of it, poop and all. Very good memories. You will see in the picture I put in, it just was very shocking, and I'm just glad she's leaving. I would say best of both worlds.

We have a friend names Nubia who is doing well, we introduced her to listening to the scriptures and he liked that. She are just trying to get her to church. Also this man named Gym, who is African and loves to talk about God. Hopefully he will read the Book of Mormon.

I also bought Crocs, and I saw the one and only Elder Lopez last week:))

That's really it tbh, it was kinda blah but new week equals new opportunities, love all so much!
