Volume 87: July 4 < July 1?
Happy Independence Day! Wait...
This week was crazy and I honestly am way to tired to write up a full email. We just got back from playing beach volleyball with the district and it was a blast! Beach vball is the best honestly, especially when you can get a good rally going! We did the district pday today because we wanted to do a 4th of July picnic and since I'm the only Canadian in the district I was lost when we sang the American national anthum. I just stood there and ate watermelon. Overall it was a dope pday. The sand absolutely wrecked the bottom of my feet tho, so catch me limping.
We had lots of success this week talking to people on the street, it was awesome! The weather has been super nice so we are able to be outside a lot more. We live in such a nice area and it's so nice to talk to young people our age, they are so much more open then the old ones...
Québec is weird. They don't celebrate July 1 the way it should be done. Instead of having nice fireworks and doing normal stuff, they just move. In Québec, everyone's lease ends on July 1, so they call it "moving day". We could barely leave our apartment it was so packed, so decided to just not go home. It was successful, and quite nice to not be home. It's definitely gets boring after a while.
We have found some really cool people here who are ready to really live the gospel! It's so cool to see the light if Christ change their life! As we are preparing one of our friends for baptism, I've truly seen his light. The light of Christ! It shines ever so bright when we apply these beautiful principles to our life each day.
Jesus Christ is the light of the world!
Salut!
