Volume 90: Ok, I'll Check My Calendar.
Hey family, what's new?
I've got some exciting news that happened this week! Our friend Tommy has agreed to take the next step, and be baptised! He is so prepared, and I pray that he will be able to enter the waters of baptism on September 3! There is nothing stopping him, his testimony has grown so much in the past few weeks. We are so excited! When we put him on date, we were talking about the Gospel of Jesus Christ, and how baptism is an important step! At the end of the lesson we invited him to follow the example of Jesus Christ, and be baptised! Right after, he pulled out his phone and was like, "Let me check my calender... yep I'm available!" It was legendary! Please pray for him!
That was the most exciting thing this week by far. Other than that, we taught a lot of lessons, and did so many contacts it was crazy. Overall a pretty good week.
We did find someone named Sarah, and she's so cool! We were sitting at the University of Laval, and when we saw her walking out of the school, we felt prompted to reach out! When we did she opened right up to us and we were able to share our beliefs! She is so cool and after we talked she told us she never talks to random people, but this time she had felt the need to talk to us for some reason! The Lord guides us to his children!
At District Council some missionaries asked what cookies we would like. I said spinich ones. I thought it was a joke but they pulled through... kind of. They put a single leaf on the cookies they make for me. I ate them all, and they were great. That was thoughtful.
Also there are dozens of raspberry bushes around where we live, and every time we go home, my companion picks some for us. It's the best and they are so good!
This week I really liked studying Alma 41! It breaks down the word "restoration" which means to bring back again. It talks about how important it is that as we go about doing good around the world, the blessings will be restored unto us. They way its described in the scriptures is really amazing!
This week is transfers, and I will be staying in YSA with the same companion! We are doing well here so it's a good thing! But it was a little bit of a shock, but that's fine.
Well that's all I got this week!
