Volume 77: I'm Pretty Dumb.
What's up!
I'm so dumb.
I locked us out of the house.
But that's ok cause we found someone to talk to about the gospel while we were hardcore struggling, so it was all part of the plan. God works in all ways.
This week was jam packed, so let's get into it!
Huge miracle alert! Our friend Anna is now on date! She is the best and doing so well here in Alma! There is nothing stopping her, in making her covenant with God, baptism! We had a great lesson with her over video call on Wednesday, and even though she was a little nervous to accept, she knows it is what she wants to do! It's a big step, but it's an important one that will bless the lives of the people who decide to make this covenant! Whoo!
This week we had the most successful English class, and it was 2 people ha! But they will be coming every week (it's a Father and her daughter from France), and it's going to be awesome! Oh ya, ALSO I put up a post in one of the Alma groups to offer the free class, and we have over 60 people interested, like what? I posted it on Friday, and I'm still getting new people! We are so excited to see it in action! We are praying that these people actually end up coming after all of this!
Update on the Rat house: no rat...
BUT, we are almost complete with the home, and it's basically a brand new one. Like it's dope. We turned a whole room into a play room for the little girl, and it's dope! We hope we can finish it all this week!
Yesterday we had a "lesson" with this random guy I started talking to on Facebook. He came to church last week and listened to my talk. After my talk he said there were great things, and also things I needed to improve on. He showed me the notes, and wanted to talk later to explain what I can do better... I didn't know there was an evaluation after Sunday talks, I guess it's a new thing. Now flash forward to the "lesson" yesterday. I say "lesson" cause he taught us. We got to the church and he came in with a fat book and a notepad. I knew we were in for a treat. Then he said he only had 10 minutes, which turned to 45 at the end. He was trying to tell us that we needed to become an entrepreneur, and continue to lead more churches... oh ya, he thinks that I lead the Alma branch. It's only because I gave a talk. It was so awkward, and he didn't understand that I definitely don't do that, and that it's the President of the branch that does. In the end I learned that if I only make money on the internet (stocks and crap), and then save some of it, I will be good life. Then at the end he showed us the book. Apparently it was $200, but I call crap cause he gave it to me for free... he only gave it to me cause the author of it was named Orrin. Which is the man he obeys to? I don't know. So now I have a book that will help me not go broke. Exactly what I want. On the brightside he did take a Book of Mormon.
Overall, good week. Learned lots at Zone Conference this week, it was nice to actually see missionnaires again. Only another 6 more weeks! Heh.
Also if anyone remembers Victoriaville (probably my favorite area), I taught someone named Nubia a lot! We ended up teaching her everything, but she didn't feel ready for baptism yet. Fast forward to today! She's getting baptized this Saturday! What??? I'm so happy for her! Hopefully I can see it over zoom!
That's all for now, bye là!
