Volume 79: I'm Richer Than Elon Musk.

Hey, hey, hey my friends!

This week was definitely one of the most exhausting weeks to date, especially Saturday and Sunday. Let's just say I love crystal light! Thanks Mom, and Happy Mothers Day!

We met this guy named Martin on the street. We asked him if he knew who God was, and he said "ya! I met him 20 years ago, he's the best!" We then learned that he was homeless and was about to start his career of planting trees once again. Which by the way happened to be where he met God I guess. He met him in the forest. Then he looked around and pulled us in real close, cause he was about to share a deep secret. He told us we couldn't tell anyone what he was about to tell us. It was top secret. We agreed because we wanted to know if course. So I guess I'm kind of breaking my promise but you don't know him so it's fine. Anyways, he said that he was Richer than Elon Musk. We were like really now, and he said yes, "I have money in all over the world, I just have to get it. So in a few months I will not need to plant trees anymore." He really kept going on with this for about an hour, and he explained that he would give us some. He also told us that when he goes to the bank, the people there laugh at him... huh interesting. Nice guy, but sus.

We had a pretty spectacular miracle this week! On Wednesday we decided to travel to a town called Hébertville. It's one of the many little towns around Lac Saint John, and since all those little towns are apart of our area, we decided to go visit some to do street contacting. We also had a plan to meet someone at a park in Hébertville for a little lesson, (I met him on Facebook). So the plan was to go to this ville in the morning, and then return for the lesson later that day. Unfortunately he wasn't responding to my texts the day of the lesson, so I was worried it would fall through. As we were getting in the car to leave Hébertville in the morning, we noticed a cool looking car beside ours. As we were pulling our we saw who got in the car beside us. It was the man from Facebook. I was so shocked. What are the odds. It was a miracle. I quickly told my companion to roll the window down and ask if his name was Tom, it was. Then he said follow me home. So we did, and then we taught him about the Book of Mormon. We are excited to meet with him again!

Saturday and Sunday consisted of:

-English Classes: they actually went pretty well, and we had a new person come! I was freaking out about it but now I'm more chill to teach these people, they are nice.

-Deliveries: since it was Mother's Day we delivered like 7 roses to the woman we are teaching, and other members. It was super fun and everyone took them well, even if some didn't like us.

-Lessons: we taught a bunch of lessons to some interesting people. One person who just wanted to make a business deal with our English classes, after I already told him we didn't actually need help, and that we did it for free. He didn't understand.

-Getting in trouble: we decided to clean one of the rooms in the church. It was the storage room and it was a mess. In the end, we moved a bigger garbage can into the kitchen because that's where it's suppose to go. But I think it would of been better if we punched a hole in the wall than touching the garbage cans. The wife of the Branch President was mad. I also was not having it either, not a good mix.

In conclusion, I'm glad the week is over. I hope this week is less stressful but who knows right? Things just happen.

Though fires may burn

And storms may rage,

When darkness comes,

We’ll find our way back home.

We will trust in the Lord.

These lyrics are pretty great. Trusting in the lord and having patience is a big focas here. There is lots of disappointment but there is also lots of joy. There truly is an opposition in all things. But I've learned to trust in the lord, especially when there are hard times. Don't forget to trust in the one who knows us all.

Au revoir.
