Volume 64: Wait, That's Not A Woman

Heyyyyyyyy y'all!

 

 

This week was pretty great! It went by pretty fast not gonna lie so that's good! I also don't really remember what we did honestly but that's fine I'll remember some things that are interesting. At least I'll try.

 

 

First of all of you want me to explain the title of my email just text me personally lol. But this week it literally just snowed and snowed some more. After the storm on Monday we thought we would be chilling, so we shoveled all the snow in our phat driveway that everyone just leaves. We were 100% trapped in after that storm. There was no way we would be able to get get haha, so we took an hour to get out so that we could go to service the next day. Wow. It's so crazy how it literally just didn't stop snowng for the whole day. I bet all the people here who ski and snowboard had a wonderful day on the slopes, I had an amazing day organizing rotten food lol, I mean I actually like doing it at the food bank, it's great and we actually have found someone who is interested in talking to us that works there! It is definitely a miracle because there is litterly only 4 people there. God is working lots of great things up here in Alma. So we are praying that it goes well with Vincent.

 

 

Ya know when we thought that the snow was not gonna come again as much as it did with the so called "storm" on Monday, we were wrong. On Wednesday is snowed the exact same amount... so there went another hour of shoveling the driveway once again lol. But then when we finished, one of those huge show trucks came along and decided to clear all the snow from the roads onto our nice clear driveway... so there we were once again, shoveling ourselves out. Oh how I love to shovel snow. We also decided to try and take some pictures but wow not a good idea, it's freezing. I keep forgetting it's basically -30 or -45 everyday haha oops.

 

 

The miracles truly are real here! It's so cool so see how the scripture Ether 12:12 plays a huge role in this area!

 

 

"For if there be no faith among the children of men God can do no miracle among them; wherefore, he showed not himself until after their faith."-Ether 12:12

 

 

So that's been pretty cool! We were blessed to receive 25 refferals from the branch president and his wife! They are honestly the best and they have so much drive and faith to help this little branch grow. They have so many names just waiting to give us, they talk about so many different people that they have to stop and say "no we will wait until next time for that person". It's the best. So far everyone that they have given us still live in the same house, since all these people are refferals from like 4 years ago it could be a little sketchy. Mais en tout cas the Lord has been very good to us here, and I'm excited to see where it takes us next. Oh ya also this week my companion and I just got called as the first and second councillor of the branch here lol, which was something I didn't expect but I mean it makes sense. We are really trying to push some movement here! I don't even know what I have to do haha we will see in the future what will happen.

 

 

Finally on Saturday we took a nice road trip to Québec city to get some more materials that we need to give out to our friends. We needed a book of Mormon in Tagalog and some other things for this week. Since we still can't do anything in person, our zone conference might be over zoom next week so we took that chance and just did it sooner than later so he could get the Book in his language. It was like almost a 3 hour road trip, so it was a good one. Got a few pics and we ate at a bomb vietnamien restaurant! Overall a good time. I would say out of all the places in Québec I think I would live in Québec City for sure, it's pretty cool.
