Volume 59: Concert De Stress

Joy to the World!

 

 

Hello and welcome to another episode of my life here over email. This was a long week. But we have Christmas this week which seems like not real or like Christmas is even a thing but it's been fun here! It's also so cold all of a sudden, and that's not fun. But at least we finally we have snow, that is good at least. Well let me now try to remember what happened this week.

 

 

First of all, we had the Christmas concert. THE Christmas concert that we have been planning for like over a month. We finally did it, after advertising it all over the place and asking a lot of people "do you like Christmas music?" It kind of worked. In Quebec there are a lot of Grinches even on Christmas. But that's ok, we work with it. In the end, we did have people come, but it was mostly members who supported us. We are so grateful for them. Some of our friends of the church came as well, and we even invited someone we found on Facebook, and he came! That was a blessing. Now we are teaching him! After we got a picture with all the kids who were there, and it was nice. It made it all good. Then we all ate cookies and hot chocolate after and it was all ok. Overall a good time, but a lot of stress, but that's over so it's fine.

 

 

We had the mini transfer for Christmas, so I now have 2 new companions! They are a hoot, and there is never a full moment here in the appartment lol. We make it work. But we have another transfer next week for real, so we will see how that works next week. Kinda thinking I will leave but I don't know if I want to lol, everyone is the best! We will see what the Lord wants!

 

 

We found a new friend this week! It was through social media so that was so cool! He was kinda weird to me when I just looked at his profile, but I felt like I still needed to text him! So I did, and he is actually cool! Then he came to the Christmas concert and we set up an appointment with him! Social Media really does work! Another cool miracle, was that our friend Nubia is really close to baptism! She is so awesome!

 

 

Kinda sucky news is apparently Covid is all of a sudden bad here so we really can't go anywhere for Christmas so that kind of sucks, but what can ya do. We will make some stake or something and it will be good, also we will try and do caroling probably with a less active member and her family! 

 

 

I honestly have no idea what else, it's gonna be a short one lol, I will probably remember more things after I send it which is awkward. It happens. I hope y'all have a very good week! Also a really good Christmas!!! Have fun!
