Volume 54: Pet De Sœur

Bruh.

 

 

Well what a week that's all I got to say, basically it was a kick in the face cause I had another emergency transfer, and life kinda just went downhill in the flash of 2 days. Let's just say there was some personal things that all spiraled out of control all at once, nothing that was between us as a companionship. So we chillin. So ya that was hard, how now we have just 2 of us here. But dispite the sad, dumb, crazy, not so fun but then was fine week, we had miracles!

 

 

1. We decided to set up Free English Classes as a way to find people here! We are teaming up with the sisters and we had our first class Wednesday! We were all very scared cause on all of the advertisements that we made we had lots and lots of hate, so we were ready for people to come and just bash us. Luckily we had none of that. We had 3 people show up and it was awesome. We have no idea what we are doing but we were lead by the spirit and it all worked out. It was definitely awkward at the beginning, but then it was better after. The people warmed up. For this next week we will be having more come, we said everyone bring your friends!

 

 

2. We are planning a Christmas concert as well with the Sisters and the Branch here and I'm poping our my ukulele and piano skills and it's gonna be fun! Its gonna be Holly and Jolly that's for sure.

 

 

3. We reached all our goals this week! We found 3 new people to teach and we had 4 people at church! It was blessing and lots of prayers were answered. One who came went to some random Catholic Church and he was like really confused. He then called us and said were are you? We then told him we only have one church and he was like so confused, and we were like now you know!

 

 

4. There was a Spanish man that has lived in Québec for 2 years, and hasn't been able to find a church to go to. Then we found out that he hasn't come to church in 27 years cause of something that happened in Nicaragua! Now we got in contact with him and now we are helping him come to church!

 

 

5. We set up Christmas decorations at a less active members home and it was sooooooo fun! It felt just like back at home and I was very grateful for it! We set up so much stuff and drank tea, and then we had homeade spaghetti! It was all needed because the day before we were in Montréal with all the crazy stuff happening. So we are good now.

 

 

We also randomly found this path and there were like hundreds of stuffed animals tied to thee trees over there. It was very weird. Apparently it's a nice thing.

This week is super busy and full of good things so it should be a good one!
