Volume 52: Translater May

YOOOOOO what's up, bringing a different energy here.

This week flew by it was weird, but those weeks are the best!! We saw lots of blessings this week it was so awesome! I will have a lot more things to say this week then last so that's good! I also just bought shoes yay!

To start of with a bang we put someone on date!! Her name is Jasmine and she is a little 10 year old who has the strongest testimony! Her parents were very keen on her being ready herself, so we we have been waiting for her to be ready I guess you could say (it's a long story). But anyways, at church yesterday she came up to us and said "December 12", and we were like yes! So that was a bug blessing for us this week. We also finally found out friend Magalie! She is so cool and does school in Montréal, then comes back here for the weekends and church. So it's been hard with her schedule to plan something! So we have just been getting to know her super well, and we were finally able to have a video call! She has so many questions, but we were able to answer them! Big blessing. Finally we were about to have district council here at the chapel in Victoriaville when all of a sudden a random dude walked in and said he wanted to become a member of the church, AND he has already read the Book of Mormon! What? That's not normal but it's awesome! Also we had an amazing lesson with our best friend Nubia! She is very awesome and we have seen such a change in her spirit as we've been here! Pray for her!

The time has come, Victoriavile has sisters now! On Wednesday we moved them in their appartment and wow that was fun moving a washing machine, dryer, and a stove up the stairs. Right after we did that, the house people of the mission (who are sweet old people) were like "now you can realize that school is a good thing so you don't have to do that for all your life". That's straight facts. It's already been a blessing as we are able to find new people to teach, and help each other out!! They are awesome, and we can't wait to see how much Victoriaville can grow! Also the sisters already gave us chili and a plant, look at that unity lol. Unity is a big thing for our district, it's basically just become a meme tho, but it's still fun. We just all get along so well!

At church this week I had to TRANSLATE sacrement meeting. Oh my goodness I was literally so dead after, I had no idea what to expect. Of course it was a great experience, and of course I did do it. But let me just say I never thought I would of given 5 talks at sacrement meeting. At least that's what it felt like. I probably made up 50% of what was happening. In the end I just prayed a lot, and I think that's why what I said all made sense. One little girl litterly didn't even breathe for 5 minutes (she talked fast), and she talked like an hour away from the mic so I heard very little. I just didn't really say much then hehe. But it's fine. It's just first time jitters. It also doesn't help that I'm at the very back of the chapel so I really am leaning as close as I can to hear better. I'm the back up back up person so kinda hoping that won't happen again... but who knows. That's my honest opinion. But I did it cause I know I had to and it was the right decision sooooo ya. I'm grateful.

Because it's getting colder, all the leaves are now on the ground. So we decided to rake them as service and finding opportunities before it snows! We've offered free help on Facebook and the only responses we get are like "wow that's so nice",or "welcome to Victoriaville". It's super great. We did get to rake Nubias so that was good at least.

Hope y'all had a good Halloween. I sure did sitting at home! It just reminded me of Covid since we weren't allowed to be outside from 5-9 cause who's gonna listen to us when there is candy. So it made sense. Also it rained all day so not even worth it. But we made a video of us saying that we share a message if hope, and we decided to share it to 100 people. So we did! That was a grind. So far we have one response. I'm not gonna share what it is. Buttttt we are optimistic! Also we had a costume.

Also I didnt see that Monopoly at McDonald's was a thing so with 3 elders we are grinding that our until next week so ya.

This week we have exchanges again! I'm so hyped, and we already have a packed day on Thursday for that! Also DC is on the same day. That will be fun! Ya that's basically it.
