Volume 41: Pop < Water

Salut!

Hope everyone is doing well! This week flew by... until yesterday, that day did not. It's also super hot, and will be for this whole week. Even if the sun isn't out, you feel like you're drinking the air. It's not the most pleasant thing, but it is what it is. Also thanks for all the birthday wishes means a lot!

So we had 2 exchanges this week, which probably made the week go by faster. One was in Granby with the other Elders in our district, where I started my mission, and the other was here in Longueuil with the zone leaders. They were both super fun, and in Granby I was able to see some old friends that I hadn't seen in a while! I was able to see good old Annie, and the Wongs! I ate at the Wongs in their personal Japanese garden that they built, it's very beautiful! They even had a little desert for my birthday which was super nice. Then after we luckily got to see Annie for a little bit. We caught her calling in her chickens, and they actually listen to her it's crazy. She's still going strong tho. We also played spike ball the next morning, and that was fun.

The other exchanges were great as well. We walked a lot in the heat so that was not fun, but like it was fun to talk to Elder Travino (the new elder for the day). We went to Wendies, and the person that took our order was a member! So she game me a free JBC and it was yummy.

Now the reason that yesterday was slow was because I think I might of got a little bit of heat stroke from walking around all day for exchanges, and not drinking lots of water. Maybe more pop than water actually whoops, I mean I like pib 0 and it's only at Wendies so I couldn't say no to that, and at lunch my companion offered us all a diet coke so I couldn't deny that either. So ya Sunday was the aftermath of that. Longest day of the mission by far. But it's over so that's a relief. All is good now, but water is my new friend.

Mission news! We are now getting new missionaries starring Thursday, then we will be getting them every other week for the next 4 months or something! So that means we will be having Emergency Transfers a lot... so lots of crazy. President said that he could just call us and we could be moved somewhere the next day. Crazy stuff. But we will see what happens. The STLs actually just told us that President said "everyone should be ok with training cause that's what's gonna happen", also "everyone should be comfortable living out of their suitcases..." That is crazy stuff. All the way of the Lord.

We got lots of videos that we will be filing this week! That will be fun for us to do. We also have zone conference coming up, and we are having a caterer (I don't know how to spell) so that's gonna be super fun!

Moroni 7:6-For behold, God hath said a man being evil cannot do that which is good; for if he offereth a gift, or prayeth unto God, except he shall do it with real intent it profiteth him nothing.

I really liked this scripture so I shared it! All things need to need to be done with a real intent to show your faith in Christ!

Well that's all for this week, keep being awesome!
