Volume 39: Kia Souls Everywhere

Salut y'all!

 

 

What a week! It felt fast but long at the same time. There was a lot of work done, and still some fun was had of course. It's been beautiful here, and actually pretty smokey all of a sudden. Not sure what's happening but hopefully nothing to bad lol. In other news, the boarders are gonna open up in a few weeks, so that means for the next transfer we are supposed to get like 30-40 missionnaires! Then we will just keep getting more from there. It's gonna be great, cause we are in desperate need of more. We probably have the lowest about ever. Right now it's less than 100 and our mission covers half of Canada.

 

 

There are so many Kia Souls (it's a car) here it's crazy, and I think they are just so ugly. Not sure why they seem to be every other car here but ya, just thought I would let you know. Sorry to anyone who likes Kia Souls or has one...

 

 

Anyways we found lots of people here it's great! All of them, and even most of the people we teach are African, so it's way different than from Sherbrooke that's for sure. Since its mostly French in Africa, they come here where there is French. They are all so nice and always want to talk, but in the end they never want to go further so that kind of sucks. But still have to have faith. Meeting new people in fun tho. But there has been many times where we knock at a door, and there are like 10 people in the house, and some of them are naked children just having fun. We have got a good share of all that.

 

 

We do service here at some food place where we put food in carts and organize it all. It was interesting and we worked with interesting people but it was good. This man that worked on a machine (he drove it) was crazy. I thought he was just gonna kill someone many times. But we are here and well.

 

 

Here's a little cool miracle! So we has thus primary activity at the church for all the kids, and we are teaching this family with 3 kids. So we invited them to the activity so they could meet the ward. And they actually came! It was crazy, and they loved it in the end! When stuff like that happens things are just better.
