Volume 37: At Least It Was A Good Haircut

Salut mes amis!

Seems like every week bring more chaos... especially when it's transfer week, and especially when it's with a new Mission President. You have no idea what to expect with that. So there was a lot of worry and stress of course but now we know lol. Also instead of knowing Saturday, the new President decided to move it to Tuesday so we had more days of suspense. So I will be moving to Longueuil which is in the same district that I was in at the beginning of my mission but not the same area (hope that makes sense), and I will now be what we call the "content creator" and I will be the man making all the cool videos for the Facebook page so I think it will be fun. But since I'm moving out, and my companion is going home that means that our area is getting closed, so we have so much work to do. We have to take everything out of the appartment and pack as well by tomorrow morning, and there are a lot of people that we still have to see so it's a lot lol, but it's fine. It's also so hot today I'm dying. I will miss Sherbrooke for sure but I'm glad new things are coming. I think it was something that was needed for me so we will hope for the best. Transfers also mean that you have to say goodbye to other missionnaires that you love so that sucks to... it's fine. Everythings fine.

Highlight of the week I'd say is that we had the most people at church that I've seen on my mission! We had lots of less active members and 3 of our friends came! It was awesome and the spirit was very strong. Luckily all our friends liked the service as well, and it really felt good. Hopefully we can continue to see more of those!

Another exciting thing is that our friend Rodrigo (he is 9) is getting baptized on Saturday! He is so ready and a great example to me! It sucks that I am leaving right before, but hopefully I can see it somehow! It will probably be over technology anyways.

Also had a weird experience with the person that cut my hair, but it's a good haircut so it's fine.

Keep in livin life to the fullest, and remember God loves you!

Avec amour,

Elder May
