Volume 34: Pain, Pain, And More Pain
Salut les gens!
This week was a rollercoaster for sure, lots of stuff happened. But I don't got a lot of time lol which seems to be the case now days. Bit anyways here's what's up.
So first basically a member called us today and was like, want some bread? And we were like sure ok. The last time we went, we got like 3 fresh loafs so it wasn't to bad. But this time I think be bought an entire bread store. So we now have 5 sacs of bread... there has got to be at least 50 or more loafs so ya. He was like just give them to people, so ya that's where we are at. Pain is bread in French so ya, just so y'all know.
Things are really looking better for the boarder and stuff, we think end of July we will be getting the missionnaires who are actually called here, so that's a good sign. We will probably be in the green zone soon, so that will be awesome as well. Things are looking promising, it's crazy. I've had some of my first dinner appointments with members, and let's say ya it's fun, but like it's so different I don't know what's happening cause it's not over a screen. That's all I know. So it's definitely intimidating in a way, definitely, and the language doesn't help. So that's kinda where I'm at with that but it's fine.
We had in person exchanges for the first time, and wow that was fun. I can't believe it happened. It feels good cause like sometimes it's hard to just be an hour plus away from anyone. It's just a weird feeling. But like it's nice to see other missionnaires.
We had zone conference yesterday and it was so fun and sad cause we said bye to the Lows. Next week we get a new mission president and it's terrifying cause we have no idea what's gonna happen or what will be changed so ya, it's been sad and scary and all that. Zone conference is so fun but like when it's over, you feel (well I do) sad cause you see all these great people and then you just leave and it's like wow I might never see you again... so that's great. Mission stuff, it's all just different lol. But it was such a spirit filled time with everyone, and I will really miss president and sister low.
The people we have found to teach are doing pretty good. Well most of them are kinda ignoring us, but our hopes are high! Thanks for all your support! Love y'all!
