Volume 30: Hawaii? No

Salut mes amis!

Hopefully you all had a good week! It's been super hot here, the humidity is crazy! I honestly feel like I'm in Hawaii, but I'm definitely not. We put the AC in our room, and we close the door to make it our "cold room". It's quite nice to just go in and sit when we have a break, since the rest of the house is a fire. It's all good tho.

Highlight of the week would probably be that we had zone conference! It's always nice to see everyone in person, and I even got to see Elder Lopez! It was so nice to see him again, it had been a phat minute! We learned how to begin teaching with PMG, and it was very well needed. Zone conference is just the best, and the spirit was very strong. Going to zone conference means lots of driving, and we still have that gimp tire on... it's doing the job, but we can't get in until this Friday, and it's already been a week so just a few more days lol. Also in zone conference we did this role play with other missionnaires and taught a mini lesson. It was in French which is fine, but like the mission president decided to come on and watch us... and we had one of the hardest topics to discuss so ya that was scary, his face was very close to mine. I guess he was just listening very well. But it was all fine in the end, cause he said good job.

We taught a lot of lessons this week, and wow it was crazy. Teaching only inside, having it be very hot, and wearing church clothes are not the greatest combination so that made things difficult. But we did it and it was good. We had some great lessons with our friends, we are just trying to get them to gain a testimony about the Book of Mormon! We have lots of hope for them all! I've really learned how powerful the Book of Mormon is, and it really just helps with everything. Try reading it right when you get out of bed, it's the best start to your day!

Also I had my first in person lesson! We got permission to do so, and it was great! Hopefully soon it becomes more regular. Apparently Québec is supposed to be in the green zone by the end of June, so we will see.

Today we had district PDay and it was so much fun. We played beach volleyball and spike ball, and ate crepes made by one of the sisters from France so they were good. It was a super nice day, and we all have lots of fun together so all around a good time.

Only 10 days left for Elder Salmon, yes I know the exact time cause it's a popular subject here hehe. It's all good. But that means a new companion, which is scary but it's whatever I will find out this week. Let's hope for the best! Hope y'all have a great week!
