Volume 28: Moyen Svp

I hope y'all are staying safe! We are back in the red zone here in Sherbrooke, which hasn't really changed much, so not to bad honestly

 

 

I'm gonna start this off with bang and tell yall a story that happened today. So we went to Magog which is a little place outside of Sherbrooke to get our oil changed. When we got in we asked for our appointment, but apparently it's tomorrow... so that's awkward. Now we are going tomorrow so it's all fine. After, we decided to stay in Magog and find a walk or something to do because we didn't want to go back into the apartment. But we were hungry, and there was an A&W right beside that oil place. In fact it's the 2nd one I've seen this whole time so I wanted it. We tried to go in but we were only allowed to use the drive through... apparently it's not an easy thing to do so I was worried kind of. But I was hungry, so I did it with confidence. I was doing very well ordering my meal and stuff. When I finished saying what drink I wanted I was anticipating that she would ask what size I wanted. So the next thing she said was "en suite" which was something I've never heard before. So I just decided to say "moyen" which is medium just hoping that it would work. After I said that she said nothing so I new something was wrong. I also saw my companion laughing so I really new something was wrong. In the end, she said "anything else" and I responded with "medium" so that was good for me. I mean I got my food so I'm calling it a success.

 

 

We also delivered a Book of Mormon to one our potential friends! He had been really off and on with his texting so we just went over to his house anyways. The appartment hallways definitely reminded me of a horror movie, and when we knocked he looked through the peep hole for a good 30 seconds. I was ready for something, and I got it. When he opened the door I could literally taste the auroma of weed. Very nice. He did take the Book of Mormon so that's good.

 

 

A scripture that I really liked this week was 3 Nephi 27:30. It says "And now, behold my joy is great, even unto fullness, because of you." I really need a great booster scripture like that this week! It's a good reminder that God loves all of us, and as we continue to follow him we are bringing him so much joy!
