Volume 73: I got 1,2,3,4,5,6,7,8 M's

Saluuuuut! It's still snowing.

I'll get over it eventually, but I feel like I've been stuck in January for 3 months. Let's hope on April 1 it will be 35 degrees. With faith anything is possible.

This week was good, and so much happened that I feel like it's been longer than 1 week honestly. But that's ok cause we saw lots of miracles this time around up here in what I like to call "The Winter Wasteland." I can't even imagine what it will look like in the summer, or if I will be here to even see it. But I do know it will be beautiful casue there is a huge lake right in the middle of all the mini towns.

Here are the 8 M's of the week:

1. We doubled the amount of people at church yesterday! It was such an answer to our prayers and our fast! We had Anna and her little family come again! We love them and are really looking forward to their continuing progression! Then we had a less active sister come with her daughter! It was the first time I've seen her at church since I've been here! Then right before sacrement meeting our friend Carol popped in and stayed the whole time! Wow that was crazy stuff. We had 3 of our friends at church and a total of 13 in the Chapel! Pretty good when we usually have 5.

2. We found 2 people through street contacting back to back! Wow this was crazy. So my last companion and I never really went street contacting cause there was never anyone outside. But with this new transfer and comp, we decided to just do it! On Friday we met Mario who accepted a Book of Mormon! Then the next day, when the weather was horrible but we still went, we met Étienne who also accepted a Book of Mormon! I was astonished to say the least. We will be doing it more now.

3. We have stared so many conversations on social media, so that's awesome. We have just been grinding on that cause it's a great tool and it's easy. My comp is very good with Family History as well so we are going to try and incorporate that with the work up here! There are so many old people that are interested!

4. I finished the Book of Mormon in 3 months, which suprised me lol. It was hard but I did it. We got challenged to focus on the two great commandments while reading it (loving God, and your neighbors). I can't believe how much I've learned from it it has been so awesome (I highly recommend it). I am now starting it in French. One of the biggest examples for me was Nephi. He was persecuted by his brothers each day because he was a faithful man and obeyed God. There were many times where he was cast in desert to be left for the beasts, tied up to a poll for many days, and even threatened by them to take his life. But, even after all that Nephi continues to say "I Nephi, was exceedingly sorrowful because of the hardness of their hearts..." He truly loved his brothers no matter what! He wanted them to come unto God!

5. We taught Primary again and it went so good! Wow I love teaching primary. We had a puzzle and made them find all the pieces, then we sang and colored. Perfect Sunday.

6. My new companion is great! He is from Stirling so some people here probably know him lol. That's it.

7. Our friends son in Québec found the missionnaires which is a blessing. Our friend Carol gave us his sons name and asked if the missionaries could go see him! It was so cool that he reached out to us for it!

8. We didn't get COVID! Oh my goodness. We taught someone in their home, and the next day they called and said they have COVID... I wanted to die. If we got it, I would probably lay in the snow overnight so I could freeze it or something. I don't know. It's annoying.

Peace out y'all, have fun walking on grass... and cement. Don't mind me sinking in snowbanks.

Oh ya also General Conference is this week and I'm so excited cause I need it. But who doesn't anyways lol.
